This is, we believe, the first reprint from the original book, which was published in the early 1960’s. It contains 62 pages of text and original photos related to activities at RAAF Rathmines during WW11 and the immediate post war period. A very factual account of personnel, the squadrons and aircraft that served at the Base. The foreword is by Group Captain Attie Wearne and he notes ‘ to the best of my knowledge it would be the only history of Rathmines Base…’
