The RCA is fortunate to have several Uni and Tafe students working with us on the Restoration, as and when their studies allow.

Of note is Christle Erodias – ‘CJ’ to us. CJ has been assisting the restoration since November 2023.  This year is his final semester, and he will complete his Degree in Aerospace Engineering…no small achievement.
Late last year CJ began his search for future employment and asked if the RCA could be used a reference on his applications.  I received a call late in January from the HR Department at Gilmore Space Technology and was able to add a positive response to the questions that were asked.
CJ will commence a three-month Internship with this company later in the year and hopefully this will be the start of his career.  We have been delighted to support CJ and wish him every success in the years ahead.

RCA have an open invitation to any UNI or TAFE students out there that would also like to gain hands on experience working on an 80 year old aircraft.
