ANZAC DAY at Rathmines
A short note, inviting all our Volunteers, supporters and friends to our ANZAC DAY Service which is held at the former RAAF Base Rathmines.
This year, a Fly past of 11 Squadron’s P8 Poseidon will take place. The C/O’s representative & members of 11 Squadron RAAF Edinburgh will again be an integral part of our Service with the crew of the P8 heading to Rathmines from RAAF Williamtown to join us for lunch at the Bowling Club.
The Sunderland Association representing 10 & 461 Squadrons, Galston Men’s Choir, Westlakes Concert Band, Bugler & Piper along with the RAAF Air Cadets from 316 Squadron, will again be attending.
Our March will start from the Bowling Club at 12md with the Service commencing at 12.30pm at the Memorial.
Following the service, Lunch will be at the Bowling club with entertainment provided by the popular ‘Sydney Swing Club’ & 'Jumping Juke Box’.
Love to see many of our members, volunteers & friends as possible. Our service is becoming one of the largest in the Lake Macquarie area, and I might say at the prettiest spot.
